Who we are?

Heard Horse Academy is not a clinic and not a traditional professional academy – we are a community of people with one thing in common: a deep love for horses. Our purpose is simple yet powerful – to learn together every day, to share knowledge, and to support one another, no matter the riding level, background, or experience.

How it all began?

The idea for Heard Horse Academy was born out of passion – a passion for horses, and for something even more essential: first aid. In Slovenia, opportunities to learn about first aid are very limited – and when it comes to first aid for animals, especially horses, they are almost non-existent. Even for people, first aid education is rare and often not repeated unless you work in healthcare. This knowledge, however, saves lives and must be renewed.

That is why Heard Horse Academy was created – to become a place where we can learn online, exchange experiences, organize courses, host talks, and connect with professionals, veterinarians, and breeders.

Our mission

We believe knowledge should never stay locked away. At Heard Horse Academy, everyone is welcome – children, adults, horse lovers, professionals, breeders, and those just beginning their journey. We are building a community where knowledge flows freely, where everyone can teach and everyone can learn. By doing this, we aim to raise awareness, reduce neglect, and bring equestrian education even to countries where horsemanship is less developed.

Our vision

Our vision reaches beyond borders. With modern technology and the ease of global connection, we believe we can create lasting change in how people understand and care for horses. The long-term dream of Heard Horse Academy is bold: to establish the first official equestrian academy in Slovenia – an institution where young people, after finishing high school, can enroll in a dedicated equestrian faculty. Because horsemanship is not just a hobby or a sport – it is a lifelong field of knowledge, a science, and a way of life.
